2019 Ocean Grove Weekend

Ocean Grove, New Jersey October 4-6, 2019

200th Birthday Honorees are
Susan B. Warner, Philip Schaff, and Julia Ward Howe

Each year the Preaching Festival focuses on a different group of historical Christians whose journeys and testimonies are an encouragement and inspiration.  The overall theme of Ralph Blair’s introductory talk and his three teachings will be: “Glory, Glory, Hallelujah, His Truth Is Marching On” – throughout biblical history, as taught to West Point cadets by Susan B. Warner, throughout church history, as taught by historian Philip Schaff, and on throughout all time and eternity, as envisioned by Julia Ward Howe.

As usual, historical artifacts and autographical items of our honorees will be on display and there’ll be time for relaxing at the shore and homemade ice cream, too. The weekend is a great venue for gay and lesbian Christians to learn, connect, worship and relax in Ocean Grove, a National Historic Landmark resort offering the beach, boardwalk and the largest collection of Victorian architecture in the nation.

Room, Meals and all Festival Events    Cost is $200.00 for double accommodation and food for the entire weekend.  Single accommodation and food is $280.00.

(This weekend is subsidized by EC.)
