The Weekend – 75th Summer ConnECtion

It’s time again for the Evangelicals Concerned, Inc. (EC) Summer ConnECtion. Join old friends and make new ones at our 75th summer retreat—June 2-4.

ConnECtion2017 keynoters are Todd Komarnicki, film producer and Sully screenwriter, actress Jane Bradbury, who’ll read from Amy Carmichael’s devotionals, and EC founder  Ralph Blair will also speak.

ConnECtion 2017 will be held at Kirkridge Retreat Center’s Nelson Lodge at the Appalachian mountaintop site of EC’s eastern summer retreats since 1980.  The weekend includes the three speakers, Q&A speaker discussions, family groups, free time activities and plenty of time for fellowship.  Kirkridge is easily reached by car or bus. It is located on the Appalachian Trail in Bangor, PA, just 1½ hours west of New York City and only a few minutes from the Delaware Water Gap.

Cost is $390* and includes room and meals. The conference begins on Friday June 2nd at 4pm with registration and ends on Sunday June 4th after lunch.  To register online, click here.


Keynoters

Todd Komarnicki

Todd is a prolific writer, producer and director of film and television as well as an acclaimed novelist. His screenplays include SULLY for Warner Brothers directed by Clint Eastwood. He has also sold pilots to ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, and TNT.

Todd is the president & founder of the production/management company Guy Walks Into A Bar. Todd and Guy Walks partner Jon Berg produced the Christmas favorite ELF, starring Will Ferrell and directed by Jon Favreau. Todd is a graduate of Wheaton College. He lives in New York City with his wife, Jane Bradbury, and their two children.

 

Jane Bradbury

Jane is an actress, writer and cinematographer. She grew up in County Kildare, Ireland and came to New York City to continue her modelling career. In New York Jane signed with the Women modeling agency where she worked on Gucci, Armani, and Louis Vuitton campaigns. She has also modelled with French Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. Jane became interested in acting where she met her future husband, Todd Komarnicki, at an audition. She has appeared in films including ELF, MEET DAVE, and MAY THE BEST MAN WIN. Jane also volunteers with Every Mother Counts – an organization founded by fellow supermodel Christy Turlington. Jane and Todd have two children and live in New York City.

 

 

 

 

Ralph Blair

Dr. Ralph Blair: is a psychotherapist in private practice in New York City.  He is founder and president of Evangelicals Concerned, Inc. (EC), EC has served the gay community for more than 35 years, providing hope, encouragement, teaching and fellowship to women and men seeking to integrate their faith and sexual orientation. EC seeks to spread the Good News of God’s grace and peace in Christ to a people called to lives of grateful service. Dr. Blair is the editor of “Record and Review” a quarterly of EC published since 1976.
