Welcome to the web site of Evangelicals Concerned Inc. We are the national network of gay and lesbian evangelical Christians and friends. A non-profit organization founded in 1975 by Dr. Ralph Blair, EC has served the gay community since then, providing hope, encouragement, teaching and fellowship to women and men seeking to integrate their faith and sexual orientation. On these pages you’ll find the Good News of God’s grace and peace in Christ to a people called to lives of grateful service. You’ll find what we believe, how we view the clobber passages that are so often used against us and much more. Dr. Blair’s quarterly Record and Review, a literature review on religion and homosexuality, is also available.
We trust God, our Creator.
We trust Jesus Christ, Savior and Lord.
We trust The Holy Spirit, our Helper.
We believe the Bible, God’s inspired Word.
It is our infallible guide for faith and conduct.
We believe the Good News that God was in Christ reconciling
the world to God and making possible our reconciliation with ourselves and each other.
We affirm the universal communion of believers.
We commit ourselves to be Jesus’ followers.

For I am persuaded, that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Evangelicals and Homosexuality
Looking Back: Much of what’s been written on same-sex issues and evangelical response today suffers from self-serving polemics on all sides and, even more so, by a serious ignorance of history. For an overview and to give some corrective perspective, read Dr. Blair's Looking Back: Evangelicals and Homosexualityhere.
